Day(s) Off

Hooray for a day.....or two, or three or four off.  I couldn't be happier for the long weekend.  However, today is about relaxation and I think these photos describe my day pretty well, although I could do without the constant coughing from a cold that seems to be returning, requiring me to sip hot fluids...often.

Today:

• Dropped dog (Mr. Oscar) off for exam & teeth cleaning at 7:30AM!!!! Seriously?!
• Resume relaxation mode via morning shows and throat coat tea.
• Noshing on delish french macarons from MadMacNYC via Gilt Groupe (Btw, they are amazing!)
• My plans of washing my hair are going down the drain.
• Wondering if Jeffery from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" can be hired by the hour just to make me tea today. 
• Pondering my New Year's Eve plans.
• Brunch on Sunday or Monday sounds wonderful. I really want to try to squeeze it in my schedule this weekend. 
• Working on much needed blog posts
• My senses tell me someone is having a shoe sale online and I must investigate at once.

STATEMENT SPARKLE

'Tis the season to get gleamed out in your most bold elements of that which sparkle, dazzle, and shine.....SEQUIN!  Time to make a statement and wear that one piece you've been itching to wear to a holiday or New Year's Eve party. 

Btw, is all not right in the world when you own a pair of sequin shorts or leggings/pencil pants? Seriously!!!! (totally in love)

On My Radar: Fuchsia Leather Gloves

I love, love, LOVE these gloves! What better way to add a lil style to a simple black, navy blue or gray wool coat than with a pop of color on your digits. It'll make the seriously cold weather transition a bit sweeter.  As a result, I'll be eye-balling these leather cuties often on Shopbop.
